A New Adventure: The Beginning

At 4am on Wednesday, Brandon, my parents, and I all piled into the car and left for the airport (but not without first stopping at my favorite coffee stand). At the airport, I said goodbye to my dad and Brandon. Saying goodbye to Brandon was very hard for me to do. I love him very much and we're both already counting down to Christmas!

My sad, but still very, very cute lovebug

It's a confirmed fact: we're ADORABLE.

My mom flew with me so she could help me get settled in. After we got through security, we got magazines, found a Starbucks with a manageable line, got some breakfast (a bagel and coffee for her; a scone and water for me), and headed to our gate. Once we boarded, she got the window seat, and I was in the middle seat. Naturally, I forced her to let me lean over her to take pictures of everything.

Bye, Seattle!
A plane selfie with my mama!

Flying over Lake Michigan--the water and sky just kind of become one!

The flight was rough. I caught a cold the day before we left and only got about two hours of sleep the night before, so I was pretty miserable for the duration of the flight. We did get to Boston before we were scheduled to, and we finally got to New Hampshire around 6 last night. I slept, cried a little lot, slept some more, and now I finally feel okay. I feel like I am going to be alright, and excited for my new adventure.

Tomorrow we're going to campus to get my ID card and maybe check out where my classes are. Then, we're going to Target and start the apartment shopping! I've been staring longingly at all the Back to College stuff at my Target at home for the past month, and I can't wait to finally get started on putting all of it together!

I haven't been on campus since January, when I visited and decided to apply. I am excited to be there again tomorrow, and I will be sure to post lots of pictures!!
