Rebooting...

Sometimes, being in the middle of working towards a goal causes me to look back on my accomplishments with less pride than I should. I have to be satisfied by little accomplishments, like getting 80's and 90's on assignments, or passing Biochem tests. Having a few big, exciting things all in the last few years has made it challenging to focus on the small things. I find myself comparing my own appearance, intelligence, etc. to that of my peers. It's not cool for my self love to do that, but I'm working on it.

There are a few other things that I need to be working toward, though. Since my birthday in January, I've gained a few pounds. I'd like to be back to my goal weight of 137--I'm currently sitting at 145--by the time finals week is over on May 20th. Another one is to keep my GPA around a 3.2, but preferably a 3.5. Achieving this will be difficult, because at this point, all I want to do is lay on the ground with a bottle of wine. Regardless, I have to aim for A's and B's in all of my classes, so I'll just have to settle for laying on the ground with wine seltzer (because of the weight loss) and a textbook.

And, because it's the end of March, I'll leave you with some very vague things that I learned this month:
  1. Good things happen when you least expect them!!!
  2. Dudes really like guns?
  3. Thank GOD for good friends who do a license check for you at the end of the night
  4. Life is better when you see at least one dog per day
